Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

We have owned ‘Millie’ (as we have always known her) since April 2015.
As all Renault Masters from 2004 onwards have had fully galvanised body shells I knew that rust was not going to be any problem and so this has proved over the years since.
She has a totally clean MOT record and in recent years she has had the cam-belt and all auxiliary belts changed in 2015 and again in 2023, in addition to this work, also in recent years she has had new brakes pads and discs changed as well as 4 x new shock absorbers. I was advised by the garage who replaced the belts in 2015 that it was patently obvious that at some time prior to my ownership the gearbox had been changed, but I have no proof of this.
This van drives superbly, in fact I actually prefer driving it to my daily driver!
Her bodywork is in no way immaculate, however she does have a good shine.

We have found this van to be amazingly economical, for instance on one of our long 4,500 mile European tours which included quite some time in both the Alps and the Pyrenees the fuel consumption equated to fractionally above 40 mpg! In the cut and thrust of faster UK motorway driving the average consumption is still above 30 mpg.

There are lots of extras included in the sale price, including both an expensive external insulated front screen cover as well as a complete set of internal thermal blinds as well.
A 3 ton trolley jack, a complete set of levelling blocks, various items of crockery and cutlery, a tool roll, medical box etc. etc.

Conversion Description

The design of this exceptionally special conversion took a very long time to undertake as we had some exacting needs, the most important ones being (1) as much living day space as possible (2) as internal natural light as possible which is why there are 4 windows and 3 roof-lights.
I had undertaken an enormous amount of research about the efficiency of various types of insulation which is why the roof and walls were all professionally closed cell spray foam lined, this is the most thermally efficient type of insulation available as it has proven throughout all our European travels in temperatures as low as -17C and as high as + 44C.
The build method I used was of a frame work construction, with lightweight oak veneer plywood facias, designed to be both exceptionally strong as well as light. I can honestly say that throughout the tens of thousands of miles we have driven we have never heard a single rattle or squeak from the interior!
Prior to undertaking the design and build I had spoken to a large number of motorhome and campervan owners about what the most annoying aspects they felt about their own vans an the main response was the lack of storage space!
This is why this van has a very large amount of cupboards as well as an enormous rear garage/shed located inside the opening rear doors.
We have travelled widely throughout the UK and Europe, always travelling along with our 3 Spaniels for which there is also plenty of room and tie down points for them whilst we are driving.

The gas tank is a refillable, lightweight SafeFill tank. We fitted this tank so as to save weight but more importantly so that we knew we could fill up with LPG at any location we were at throughout Europe.

PLEASE NOTE: The weighbridge figure of 2720kg is NOT the unladen weight, the true unladen weight would be quite considerably lower. To explain, the weighbridge ticket shows the figure of 2,720 kg and it was taken with ‘Millie’ fully loaded with 2 adults, 3 Springer Spaniels, full fuel tank, full gas tank and fully loaded with all our needs for our immediately forthcoming pan European tour.

Beds Description

The bed is a pull out 6′ x 4’6″ bed that doubles as a very large 6′ long sofa during the day.
Although we have never used it as such, the bed can be made up to either one with a width of a 137.2cm width or as a large single bed.

Main Bed Length
183cm
