Vanward AdventureMAN 4x4 Camper

We challenged ourselves to build this feature-packed camper into a 6m long van. Creating a van with 4 travelling seats, a toilet/shower and a fixed bed above a generous garage whilst not feeling cramped was highly gratifying.
This needed some novel approaches, such as an asymmetric bed; long enough and wide enough to be comfortable without encroaching into the space needed for the shower or kitchen.
Heating and hot water are supplied by a diesel-powered Combi heater in the garage.
An onboard 100L water tank ensures a plentiful supply of water that is kept within the insulated cabin. There is also a 70L underslung waste water tank.
Large garage under the fixed double bed has room for all your gear.

Electrical system:
We used Victron Energy equipment throughout this build. The electrical system was designed from the ground up to be used for cooking, lighting, 12V power and 230V power, all whilst off-grid.
This was achieved with the following components:
2kVA Multiplus Inverter/Charger
2x200Ah Victron Smart Lithium Batteries
280W Victron Solar Power with Victron MPPT
30A Victron Orion Battery to battery charging (when on the road)
Victron Cerbo GX Touch Screen System Monitor with integral fresh and waste water gauges
Automatic water pump control
4G Wifi network
2 x 800W induction hob
80L Thetford Compressor Fridge/Freezer
12V and 230V plugs throughout the van

This is plenty of power to use off grid in winter in Scotland for a week.

This is an ex-demo model that has only been used for a couple of trips and several shows.
