Conversion Description:
The previous owner was a carpenter and converted this van by hand.
Fully insulated with 25mm Celotex board in both ceiling and floor. Sound dampening added to side and ceiling panels to reduce noise transfer from outside the van. Walls are insulated with a mixture of both 50mm Celotex board and loft insulation. Reflectix window covers and insulated fabric divider which hangs in place of the bulk head to increase insulation in the winter, as well as increased privacy.
Ceiling is stained pine tongue and groove with 6 touch-sensitive down lights.
Kitchen cabinet contains small metal sink with water-pump integrated tap, which recharges from USB socket located above the Moroccan-style tiled backsplash. Under the sink there are two 10L water tanks, one for fresh water feeding the tap, and one for waste, connected to the sink by a drain (which can be plugged). The canisters can be accessed easily from inside the camper or from behind the cabinet by opening the sliding door. The cabinet also includes two bottom hinged, tongue-and-groove doored cupboards, which match the ceiling.
AGM leisure battery connected through a fuse board to switch panel, which can be used to isolate all electric circuits individually. The panel also includes a 12V socket, 2 more USB ports and a voltage display to track the charge of the battery.
Two open shelves located above the battery for more storage to add to the underbed space.
Diesel heater has been working previous winter, and requires some attention as I think the wiring is playing up.
Pull out, slatted sofa-to-bed. Bed is the size of a small double, we comfortably sleep two people. Back sofa cushion fits next to base to form mattress. Pull out storage box under bed on one side and open storage space under other.
Mattress is measured to the size of the space and is 4inch thick memory foam
