Very well loved camper that has been on some amazing trips across Europe and Britain.

The Vivaro has been ours since January 2016, prior to that it was a surfer’s day van. Since 2016 we have lovingly upgraded and installed all interiors, including best quality Van-X blackout curtains, large L-shaped sofa / double bed pull-out formation with memory foam mattress and giant storage trunks, generous gas hob, easy access crockery for those early morning cups of tea in bed, and tons of clothes storage. Completely reconditioned engine installed in 2016 along with new oil filter, new timing belt kit, new water pump, new spark plugs and anti-freeze. The new engine has done 25,000 Miles. Since then, she has passed every MOT easily and at other times needed very minor maitenance and repairs that have surfaced through regular servicing. New tyres fitted during this time also. Never given us any trouble while on a trip, and we’ve done some big ones!

If you are unfamiliar with the Vauxhall Vivaro van, it is a really smart option for campervanning especially if you’re planning to trip around Europe as it is the exact same model/chassis/under-bonnet as the Renault Trafic, and Nissan Primastar. This means you will never be waiting ages for a special part to arrive in that small mechanics garage in Southern France!

The SWB Vivaro is equally brilliant at being a small-yet-spacious camper. Has no trouble getting into small seaside car parks, down country lanes, or functioning as your city vehicle (as it has for us for 5 years). It’s also inconspicuous if you are keen to try out wild camping. We’ve parked it up by quiet coastal roads and lochside lay-bys without any trouble.

Please note there is no leisure battery, but we have managed fine with a USB solar panel, battery powered spotlights, and an Omnicharge 100w power bank for charging laptops etc on longer journeys. This would be the final upgrade if we were keeping the van, but we’ve had 5 amazing years without needing a leisure battery in reality.
