Rapido Club 32 Caravan
We have had to admit that we have now outgrown or lovely old Pop-Top Caravan ‘Vera’ which is a bit of a work-in-progress project. She was our first caravan, and was an ideal step up from a tent. she is quite basic, but is small and light and easy to tow. She has a surprising amount of storage space and our family of 4 have been very comfortable – but the bunks are just too small now for children as they start secondary school!
She was a 3 bed caravan – but now has a 4th bunk, strong enough for an adult but more suited to a child.
We have upgraded the tables to stronger plywood – to be more secure as beds and replaced the upholstery to be more to our taste.
Vera is far from pristine – but has a lot of character. She has had some knocks prior to us having her, and some leaks which we think we have fully stopped- we didn’t find any leaks in a very wet Scotland this summer.
The blinds have seen better days and will need to be repaired or replaced. Also we never tried the fridge on ‘gas’ as we always stayed on sites with a hook-up. There are several little jobs we never got around to – like replacing a clip on an awning pole – which stays in place… most of the time!
Vera comes with a big awning, a smaller porch awning and a simple sun shade.
We will be happy for any inspections and to discuss what other equipment you might want to go with it.
We’ll be sad to see her go, but have listed her elsewhere so might end the auction early.
4 seat dinette becomes a good size double,
2 seat dinette becomes full length single, deployment of a bunk makes 2 bunks more suited to children.
