Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

Reluctantly selling Greenie (aka the Green Machine), inherited from my father in law, who had it for 30 years (so full service history etc etc).
We’ve taken a few trips in her but ultimately my partner is abroad too much for us to get any use out of it (and is travelling again shortly so Greenie is priced for a quick sale – open to offers too).
She’s a 1973 VW camper with a bay window and a pop top complete with two bunks (that our kiddo and cousins have enjoyed playing about in and reluctantly going to bed!), click clack sofabed with belted seats in the back, gas stove, sink, solar panel that runs leisure battery, fridge that hooks up to mains electric when the van is plugged in (comes with leads etc).
We’ve repainted the cupboards, replaced the curtains (which were a little 70s for our liking!) and have recently replaced the starter motor (have receipts for work).
She also has an awning with bedrooms/dining area etc if you want to have a longer stay somewhere or camp with a larger group, as well as a roof rack and full protective cover for front and back.
The engine is air-cooled and tank-solid.

That’s the exciting stuff. The downsides: she’s a classic vehicle so tops out at 55mph (possibly more but I’ve never pushed it), has a couple of rusty bits here and there, as well as quirks like the clutch needing to be pumped with your foot when starting – eg what you’d expect from a classic van of this age (and hence the lower price).
Any questions/for viewings/test drives/more pics etc please feel free to drop me a bell or email. Cheers, H

Conversion Description

I guessed at the weight by googling VW T2s but this isn’t a conversion so weight unchanged etc (bar roof rack)

Beds Description

Click clack sofa bed (you could fit two people on here but it’s honestly far more comfy with one!) and pull out bunk/hammock style beds for 2 kids. So total berths is 3-4
