• No power steering
• Gear change takes some getting used to.
• Interior could do with some TLC but it’s completely functional and has served us well.

We are selling our lovely LT28, named ‘Ludwig’.
We’ve had this van for 7 years and loved having it. We are only selling now as we are expecting a baby and the van only has 2 seats up front So it’s time to let it go
It really deserves to be bought by someone who is willing to give it some TLC to get it looking tip-top again – and as with any van of this age it does have some niggles… all part of the adventure though!
The van is really spacious inside, with loads of storage. Going away in it is such a joy as you can keep everything organised and tidy. The passenger seat swivels round. It’s large enough to comfortably go away for weeks but small enough to park easily.
The bed converts into benches, you can comfortably fit 6 adults in there on a summers evening. The width of the van means you get quite a spacious double bed back there too, which is a definite plus!
Driving the van does take a bit of getting used to due to the lack of power steering and the gear stick taking some time to get the hang of! But it’s got some power behind it, easily getting up hills and reaching 70 on the motorway no problem. The amount of waves you get from fellow VW drivers along the way makes it all the more enjoyable.
We’ve had so many amazing adventures in this van, we’ve taken it all round Scotland (beautiful!), down to Cornwall for surf trips, up and down the hills of Snowdonia, and everywhere in between! It has served us really well and we love the van – but now it’s time for someone else to take on the adventure!
