Up for sale is my VW Transporter T30tdi camper van for spares or repair. It has been a well loved van which I have owned since buying from a professional conversion company. It is registered with DVLA as a camper van.
Unfortunately, the cam belt has snapped and is currently being sold as a non-runner. The price is reflected to the amount of work that may need doing and as such is sold as seen. The damage caused by the cam belt snapping has not been examined so it is unknown what might need doing.
The current engine has 143,118 miles on the clock. The van has been regularly serviced and maintained by VW dealership and have part SERVICE HISTORY. MOT now run out
The vehicle has been standing for several months whilst I explored my options, but have I decided it best to start afresh and get something a bit bigger for our needs.
The body work has been wrapped but is starting to peel in places, it would certainly benefit in being redone but is in pretty good condition underneath.
The back is fully kitted out with a rock and roll bed and comfortably sleeps 2, there was a sleeping platform in the pop top roof but has been taken out as we did not use the space but could easily have one put back in. The front and passenger seats both swivel round to create seating areas in the cabin.
There is ample storage for bits to go away. The kitchenette area has two under counter cupboards, one smaller cupboard and two overhead compartments. It is complete with gas/electric fridge, gas cooker/grill and two burner hob and sink. There is under bed storage and another storage cupboard at the back doors.
It has power management system (PMS 311) which powers from leisure battery or electric hook-up, hook up wires included. Van charges battery whilst driving. The leisure battery however, is in need of replacement.
