VW Caddy Maxi 2012

Great little camper,

Self-conversion over the last 2yrs. With a seating and sleeping capacity of 2 and a 2-axle-rigid body, it is easy to handle and perfect for weekend getaways and longer road trips. I have loved every trip in this van and am only selling it as I am moving abroad!

– C20 TDi Bluemotion, 1.6l engine, runs and drives very well. Very comfortable.
– Full years MOT (due March 2025)
– Age-related wear and tear- I have taken it on trips up and down the country and across Europe so there are a few minor scratches or dents as would be expected from these trips (Happy to send more pictures on request)
– Fully insulated, Vapour barrier, ply lined/ cladding and carpeting
– Roof rack
– L shape bed (single size) with a removable table (That will turn the bed into a small -double)
– Storage under the bed, above the cab and in the cabinet to the back.
– Bed cushions, thermal window covers and curtains all included
– 2x sliding doors (one with window) and rear barn doors (Both with windows)
– Non-electric windows and mirrors, with central locking and spare key.
– New Bluetooth radio system fitted with USB and Bluetooth connection.
– New spring on driver’s side and new clutch, both in the last year.

CONVERSION DETAILS

BASE

– Insulated with recycled plastic insulation roll, sound deadening and vapour barrier. Carpeting and Cork insulation on any exposed metal, (I stayed in the Alps in the snow and it was a comfortable temperature all night with the window covers on)
– Vinyl click flooring.

ELECTRICS

– Leisure battery, solar panel, and fuse panel with a kill switch. All grounded to the chassis.
– Marine grade 12V control panel with 2 USB and cigarette ports. switches for the lights and the water pump connected (spare switches for adding more connections)
– 3 spotlights on the ceiling, touch on and off and dimmable.
– Small max air extractor fan with circle ceiling light.
– Electric water pump with running water to the tap.
– Carbon monoxide monitor, and fire extinguisher fitted for extra security.

OTHERS

– L-shaped sofa (fixed small single bed sized), with 360-degree moving table, that removes to create a small double bed.
– Large over-cab storage shelf, small shelf inset in the wall with corkboard detail, plenty of hooks and hanging spaces.
– Lots of under-bed storage, with 4 plastic boxes that fit nicely included.
– Electric water pump, tap and removable sink with water tank included.
– Small fold-out table on the back door, with screw jars on the ceiling.
– Basic jack, jump leads and service history included.
