This conversion meets all DVLA internal features required for a campervan.
If you add an awning and decals ( stickers) to make it look like a campervan you will get motor caravan approved. This is not a requirement and does not effect your insurance for many insurance companies. I can recommend an insurance company to you.
The current gross weight is 5000kg but can be downgraded to 3,500 this can be done when changing the ownership details. We can help you do this or do it for you
You can still drive the van while you wait for your downgrade as long as you can show you have applied and the van is the correct weight.
You only need to downgrade if you don’t have a C1 driving licence. If you do have C1 then please disregard this section.
