VW LT35 2004 OFFGRID CAMPER VAN
Milage: 127,889
MOT: 30/03/2024
Reluctant sale of my beautiful VW LT35 Campervan. The van is in incredible condition for its age and has been well looked after (it’s been in the family since 2016). LT vans are absolute tanks, and this is no exception! We’ve used it to go down to Cornwall, Norfolk, stayed at weddings, used it as a home from home for a few years – but we’ve decided to move to Cornwall and hence the sale. We’ve kept it in great condition and have always had the work needed to be done (but very little).
This van is ready to go on adventures, being on the weekends, or a live-in van!
The van was built in Spain by my best friend, who’s an electrician. And comes with:
– Photonic Universe 3 x Solar Panels (with panel)
– 2 x Leisure Batteries – you’ll never run out of power
– Split Charge Relay
– Diesel Heater (for the cold nights)
– Roof vent Fan (in/out)
– Integrated Roof spotlights
– Mood LED lighting by the bed
– Dometic Fridge
– Midland Gas Oven and 2 Burners
– FloGas Bottle in the back – shouldn’t need gas for probably a year
– Sink/Tap with Water Pump
– Queen size bed – with storage units
– Sofa with Storage unit beneath and folding table – use this with the Captain chair to have dinner!
– Captain chairs on both sides in the cabin – you can put in the original bench seats if you prefer (we do not have them)
– 2 Charging points (supercharge phones etc) at the front and back with voltage reading
– Storage at the top of the driver cabin (where the bulkhead would have been)
– Side Window, with sliding window compartment
– Lots of drawers for storage on the kitchen side and under the bed
– Middle compartment (used for storage, but was intended for a shower)
– Side Fiamma Awning
PLUS Lots more!
The equipment enough is a small fortune, especially if you’re looking to build a van yourself.
Mechanically:
The van is completely solid and never let us down. Comes with a brand new spare tyre (with full wheel underneath), it’s not had a service this year (due to the amount of mileage done) but may do it if I get around to it.
Issues:
– Some tiny surface rust in pockets (but that’s it’s age)
– Sliding door can only be opened from the outside, can be locked from the inside
– Immobiliser light flashes (no idea why, I think this is an issue with this van) – but it doesn’t impact anything at all.
The conversion was done by a qualified electrician (my best friend) who lived in the van for a year or so and then moved onto another project.
The conversion has been done to a high standard, and includes:
– Rear dedicated bed
– Sideboard areas, all finished with Danish Oil
– Middle compartment with the option to add a shower in
– Sofa, with storage underneath and folding table
– Drawers, Storage under bed, and storage at back, Storage also top of the driver cabin
– Extractor Fan
– Diesel Heater
– Inverter
– Solar Panels x3 and Leisure Battery x 2
– Flo Gas Bottle
– Spotlights LED, LED strips on rear bed, Lamp by kitchen area
– Sink, with water pump and tap
– waste pipe with waste water tank
– Fresh water tank (20L)
There is a bed across the back of the van, which is a dedicated bed.
There is an option to sleep on the sofa also.
