VW T2 Bay window 1973 with New Westy Roof + Awning + Bike Rack

Reluctantly putting our beautiful campervan Alice up for sale. We have had many good years with her however we are finding that with new additions to the family we are tighter on time.

Alice was born in 1973, she was originally a Devon build.
Upgrades/extras;
– New pop top from Space Roofs in Exeter 2022, we converted her from a Devon to a Westy for the additional sleeping room (and better looks!). The advantage of this new roof is the reassurance it is waterproof + they are very slightly lower meaning she fits in our garage where a normal Westy may be too tall. We also had some nice custom roof racks fitted by Space. There are also loops on the front for tying down.

– Save my bug oil temp sensor

The van was given a full refurb in 2017, rust was removed and she was painted in L20B brilliant orange. There are a few spots and tiny cracks but she is in generally great condition. Always stored indoors, we are fair weather campers so she hasn’t seen much rain!

The engine is a dual carb 1776, it has a custom oil cooling and filtration system. Oil is regularly changed and any maintenance has been taken care of. She has never let us down and sits on a trickle charger in our garage.
