Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

This is a very well loved T25 Holdsworth Villa 3, automatic, petrol 1.9dg engine, MOT 03/02/2023.

I have owned Bertie since 2017 and shall be very sad to see him go, I am emigrating and am unable to take him with me.

I have kept him original because there are very few completely original Holdsworths about, let alone an auto! However, as you will see from the photos it doesn’t take much to personalise him and make him a little bit different – he never failed to get attention due to his dashing good looks!!

In January 2020 a full engine rebuild was completed by Bromyard VW, Hereford.  This was carried out with incredible attention to detail and all works carried out were detailed in a report. This can be available to view should you wish to view the vehicle. The engine runs extremely smoothly and sounds absolutely spot on!

At the end of 2020 he went to the Aircooled Workshop in Kent where he had the following work completed:
n/s and o/s rear wheel arches replaced
o/s sill replaced
cut out and replace corroded panels, repair to window surrounds, repair to lower front, replacement 3 side window rubbers.  Due to paint fade and being unable to match the paint, a respray was also carried out.

In August 2021 all the fuel lines replaced – Heritage E10 compatible lines. (However, I do not use E10 fuel)

This Holdsworth is in completely original condition, the water pump was replaced in 2018 and works with the original underslung water tank.  The 2 ring gas burner and grill all work, there are 2 full gas bottles with the van.  The leisure battery was replaced in May 2019 (receipted) and can be charged either via mains hook up or by the split charger when driving. The original Zig unit enables you to switch between hook up, 12v and touring.  There are several reading lights located within the van that run off 12v or hook up, there are two 240v (3 pin) plug sockets and two 12v sockets located within the van.

The passenger seat swivels to give you a much larger living space & both seats are in excellent condition for their age. The two tables are original and the two legs are located under the sofa, they can either be placed in the living area or the cab area.

The sofa, which does not have seatbelts, easily pulls out to become a standard 3/4 rock and roll bed.  Unlike some vans, when the bed is out the fridge is easily accessible, and there is ample room to move around.  The fridge is the original Electrolux 3 way fridge which means that it works off gas, hook up and when the vehicle engine is running.  The instruction manual is provided, it is a very efficient fridge and works well on both gas and hook up.

There is further sleeping accommodation in the pop up roof, all the roof boards are present as are cushions.  The roof has gas struts which were replaced in 2019 and make for easy lifting and pulling down.  As this is a solid sided roof it is very warm and does not allow drafts or noise to penetrate unlike canvas roofs which let heat out and cold air and noise in.  This area is very useful for storing items out of the way during the day.

There are plenty of cupboards within the van so storage is not an issue.

The van has a Fiamma Fs45 wind out awning that was new in 2018 which provides welcome shade from the sun and from rain.  The legs can either be attached to the side of the van or pegged into the ground.

There is a tracker fitted and the subscription for this could be transferred to the new owner.

There is a Sony Bluetooth Audio system with speakers in the rear of the van.

It is important to note that this is a 36 year old van and although I have ensured that it is serviced (history included) and maintained to a high standard, this will need to be continued in order to continue to have trouble free motoring.  It does not have power steering as I have not needed it however kits are easily accessible.  It also does not have rear seatbelts, but again this can be retro fitted.  If either of these things is important to you I suggest you make enquiries regarding cost and availability before requesting to view the van.

I have a great deal of paperwork, including the original receipt from Holdsworth! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.  I have an album of photographs from the work carried out on the engine and work completed by the Aircooled Workshop that I can share with you.
