*Bodywork:
-The tailgate has seen better days, it’s very corroded on the bottom lip and patches around the window glass.
-Ever since we have owned Elmo he always crunches in 3rd gear, never has it caused a problem, nor has it got any worse in 7 years of ownership.
-Both far rear n/s and o/s underside sections are holed, not structural and an easy patch weld would remedy this one.
-As can be seen on the photo, on the n/s front corner there is body damage (just above indicator).
-Small rust hole in passenger side footwell. Easy repair.
-Rust spots all over in usual places, none too bad and have been zinc primed and painted.
The time has come to sell our beloved ‘Elmo’ (F49LMO).
We have owned the van since 2015 and in that time we have been on some of the most amazing camping road trips, taking us as far south as Portugal and as far north as the Scottish Outer Hebrides.
