Our van started life as a Shuttle (minibus) previously owned by a care home and used for days out etc so had a nice easy life.
Registered as an MPV on log book as the base vehicle is a Shuttle minibus. Means you can drive it at car speeds in national speed limits rather than being restricted to 50/60 live a van.
Major conversion work was done by Wild tracks camper vans in Bristol (T5 experts) where they fitted:

I then built the interior using top quality birch ply

Single and double rear seats with belts can still be used so you can use the van as a 6 seat car/day van when required. We tend to take the single seat on most trips and remove it once set up and keep it in the awning.
Food out table with 2 leg fixing points
In the back is a bike garage/storage boot with a pull out tray on heavy duty runners, 1700 long x 1200approx wide. BlokPod fork clamps to secure bikes in place with wheels removed.

Downstairs is a quick assembly single bed that bridges from the sofa to the swivel double passenger seat – this sleeps an adult comfortably
Above the garage is a child’s cabin bed which is 60cm wide and width of the van so about 150cm
Our 3 year old has slept here since he was less than a year old. It has a safety net to clip over to prevent little ones climbing out. It’s big enough for a child up to 8 years old probably. Or it could be used as a dog bed if you wanted!
