VW T5 TDI LWB pop top campervan in great condition

Really nice example in great condition or the year. Mechanically sound. No rust visible anywhere, a few minor blemishes/ scratches to paintwork and alloys. Lovely dark blue with a faint glittery finish if the light catches it, shown in photos.

5 gears, manual transmission. 5 belted seats.

Last service was on 12th April 2024. I have service history for 2014,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24.

MOT valid until 18th April 2025. Taxed until November 2024.

We’ve owned it since 2019 and it’s only done 12,000 miles in those 5 years. We’ve had it serviced annually and well maintained. I’ve used the same garage for every service and MOT since we’ve owned it. They service and maintain the 40 vans owned by the company I work for and are very thorough and professional.

The guy we bought it from had it professionally converted to a very high standard. Insulated, lined and carpeted walls and ceilings. Full leather upholstery. He liked to take trips away from campsites and electric hookup as well as surfing so it’s well equipped for long adventures. (large 50L water tank, 2 batteries, solar panel, lots of storage). I have most of the paperwork and receipts from these works still

We’ve used it solely for weekend trips around the UK. Really spacious and practical van there is 2m space and 1.5m space when the rock-and-roll bed is flat. We have had a travel cot in this space and still room to manoeuvre, would be impossible in an SWB.

Front double seat swivels to face the living space. Also has storage underneath. Pop top roof with bed and mattress in good condition. With mesh windows that zip closed. Bed can easily sleep a couple, as can the rock-and-roll bed. Bed pushes up into the roof so you can stand up inside. Have recently noticed two tiny holes in the roof material, will add photo for scale, can be easily repaired.

Folding dining table, which can slide along the length of the units, and a small second table, the pole sits just behind the front passenger seat and can swivel into the van or outwards when the side sliding door is open.

4 high quality Michelin winter tyres added recently, no more than 5000 miles them.

Hot water Tank and shower (runs off mains electric hookup)

LPG Heater, has recently stopped working.

Full electric system, with a second leisure battery which charges from the main starter battery and solar panel, and an electric hook up (cable included). PMS 3H Power Management Unit power supply unit. The electrics were all inspected/ serviced in 2023 by a Caravan specialist, weak connection at the back of the fridge fixed and all electrics in good, safe condition.

240v double socket with USB (works when hooked up)

Internal Led lights in the ceiling, bottom kickboard of the units and two flexible lights in the pop top space.

Black out curtains for the side and rear windows. Reflective window covers for the front windows and windscreen.

Kenwood stereo head unit with inbuilt garmin and aux cable in the glove box. Good quality speakers in the front and back.

Fiamma Bike rack included in good condition

Outback Awning included, in good condition, see photo of it up. Very spacious for family trips and folds up compact

A few negatives..

Two small scratches/ dents. Tried to show in the photo, will cost a couple of hundred to sort out, I never thought it was needed. Other minor scratches and marks but generally very good condition.

Side panel on the sliding door side has come slightly away.

I recently (and stupidly) spilled some acid-based patio cleaning liquid on the leather upholstery which has dissolved some of the leather, so this section will need reupholstering. It’s just this one panel, the rest of the rock-and-roll seat is in very condition.

Front wing mirror was hit when parked in the road recently. Has been put back together with new glass and seems safe and stable enough but would be best practice to replace the plastic housing as well.

2 tiny holes in the roof canvas, just under the windows, Simple fix with a repair kit that will be provided.

Beds Description
Rock and roll bed/seat 1.95m long when extended and 1.1m wide. Pop top bed/ mattress is 1.98m long and 1.15m wide.
