VW T5 Transporter 1.9TDi 84PS SWB
1.9 tdi 84PS engine
43900 miles from new
Body work in good condition, paintwork fade on fibreglass pop top roof.
Insulated and lined.
– Pop Top roof with roof bed – 4 berth total.
– Rock n Roll bed with seatbelts – the rear has a fixed bench running down one side with plentiful storage underneath. When the RnR bed pulls out it sits perfectly flush with the bench to form a large and comfortable double bed. The RnR bed has storage underneath.
– 240V hook up for campsites. 3 pin domestic adapter so you can plug the camper van into a normal household socket. The van has a large deep cycle leisure battery in the rear which means you can operate the 12V system (lights and fridge) off grid. The van has a split charge system meaning when the van engine is running the leisure battery charges up.
– 5 x LED spot lights in the roof.
– Separate rear speakers with bluetooth amp. So you can connect your phone when parked up and play music through two car speakers in the year separate to the main van sound system.
– 2 x 2 3 pin domestic sockets with 2 x 2 USB sockets.
– Caravan Power Management panel.
– 12V/240V Dometic Fridge freezer. This is a very new top of the range fridge which runs either off the battery or off the mains hook up. You can run it entirely as a fridge or entirely as a freezer or as a fridge freezer by removing a separate compartment. Worth around £700 new.
– Worktop space which I use to put a small gas stove on (included in sale).
– I replaced the panel in the sliding door and replaced with a 3 bin storage panel – handy for small bits to store.
– Oak effect Vinyl flooring.
– Removable table with Fiamma table pole.
– The VANGO inflatable awning is available separately by negotiation. This cost £600 new and has been used a handful of times so is in incredible condition.
– I also have a thetford porta potti available separately by negotiation.
Bad Bits:
– The van has some age related marks but generally the bodywork is in great condition.
– The pop top hinges have some rust but still operate without issue.
– Alloy wheels are quite scuffed.
– The passenger airbag has been disabled because I had a child seat in the front of the van. The van doesn’t have an isolator switch. The airbag can easily be reconnected. The van runs fine but an airbag light flashes on start up – this goes away soon after starting.
– The van requires a glow plug replacement – I am in the process of getting this fixed. Doesn’t affect the van – this is only needed very briefly to start the van but it has other glow plugs so starts and drives absolutely no problem. The engine light is currently on but I will of course fix this before final sale
Full Width and full length double bed formed of a fixed bench and Rock n Roll bed.
