We have unfortunately come to the decision to sell our beloved Bertha due to changes in job location. Bertha has been our camper and daily driver. Bertha has taken us around the UK and we have loved every minute of owning her. MOT valid until July 2024.

All work completed within the last 12 months :

* Timing belt and water pump changed just 10 months ago.
* Lights in dash fixed
* New springs and suspension has been increased makes for a much smoother drive
* New alternator
* New alternator belt
* New break pads
* New leisure battery
* Brand new diesel heater that’s been connected straight up to the diesel tank remote to operate
* Split relay fitted to you can live off grid and wild camp
* New front radiator grill, we wanted Bertha to have a VW badge on display
* New carpet and lining on the floors
* My partner and I have spent approx. £3,000 on getting her up to scratch.

I would like to note that every mechanic has always said that Bertha’s engine sounds ‘lovely’ or ‘healthy’ which has always been nice to hear.

Needs some welding work to the wheel arches which is to be expected with a 26 year old van.

Front blower dials also need fixing but a mechanic I know says it’s an easy fixable job, it was next on my list. Currently only blows one temperature.

The van is currently on just over 162,000 miles.
