The bed is on the floor (3 pieces of mattress 15 cm thick). If you don’t need the bathroom, you can easily modify it and make a fixed bed.
I spent 2 years of my life on this project. The camper was rebuilt to do an around-the-world trip and last more than 100k miles. A massive amount of work was done, and lots of money was invested in it. We have done around 17,000 miles around Europe in 10 months, but something has changed, and we came back home. We don’t plan to use it in the near future; this is the reason for the sale.
I can’t describe everything here. If you are interested, let me know, and I will send more pictures and details. Here are some general things that have been done:
1. Removed some windows and fully resprayed the van, with 3 layers of protection under the van. Due to not being used for more than 6 months, there is some small rust on the arches.
2. Fully rebuilt the engine and gearbox (we added and upgraded to 5th gear for fuel economy). We changed everything we could, including injectors, generator, battery, whole cooling system, and many more.
3. Massive work with electricity was done by a qualified electrician. We didn’t use gas; we used electricity for cooking, water heating, fridge, and charging our scooters. We have a 2000W inverter and 2x200AH Carbon Gel batteries.
4. We fitted an IKEA kitchen and a spacious shower.
5. The van has a custom 220-litre fresh water tank under the van and an additional 80-litre tank for grey water.
6. Upgraded front and back lights, additional lights around the van and one big light in front, front and back cameras, stop-start, manually adjusted cruise control, comfortable seats, heating system, hot water enough for 2 people, and a water filter.
This van is ready to go. On the motorway, it does around 40 mpg. Everything you see in the pictures comes with the price.
Spent £24k on it, selling for £8k (minimum price non-negotiable) I urgently need money.
