This is a rare LWB 4×4 campervan that is officially registered as a motorhome. The base vehicle is very high spec – it is the most powerful engine option available – 130kW (177hp) and has a 6 speed manual gearbox. Perfect for hauling up a mountain! It is Euro6 so meets all required emissions standards. It is registered as 3.5T so works with standard driving license. This has been weighed and approved. Has the full Carplay/Android Auto stereo system and air conditioning.
PLEASE NOTE this is a LEFT HAND DRIVE vehicle – it is perfect for European trips and is fully kitted out for winter ski trips in the Alps. Photos show German plates, however the van is UK REGISTERED with 68 plates.
Conversion Description
Fully winterised, 4×4 and can go off grid for months at a time and is top spec throughout. Originally part converted by professional installers Carpenter Ingram and finished by first owner. We have spared no expense in building the ultimate ski and adventure van, original cost of component upgrades are shown below to give you an idea.
External upgrades: 5 x Delta 4×4 Klassik alloys and BFG KO2 tyres (all terrain tyres that can be used in all conditions from summer to snow and ice in winter) in size 245/65/17 (£2800), Seikel lift kit (£1800) and Seikel snorkel (£1100).
Campervan upgrades: 4 berth with multiple bed layouts from 2 doubles to 4 singles (see pics). Single rock and roll seat/bed with seatbelt that can also convert to a widthways double bed. Table with swingout lagun table leg that can be stowed away when not in use. Projector mount for ceiling and pop up screen. Maxxfan (£300) and large Dometic Heki 3 skylight (£800). LOADS of storage – this van was designed for multi month trips with skis, mountain bikes, climbing gear etc.
Water and toilet: Hidden shower that uses a wooden grate and tray built into the floor and a powerful shower tucked away in top cupboard. Pull out cassette toilet in a drawer under the seat. 80 litre freshwater tank in garage, 60 litre underslung tank for water and 24 litres drinking water under the sink. This is a great use of space rather than a fixed shower cabinet as it still allows for hot showers and toilet without taking up all the space that can be better used for storage.
Kitchen: 2 ring Webasto X100 diesel hob (£1100), big sink hot and cold water plus separate drinking water tap. 65 litre Dometic fridge (£700). Espresso machine and 230V sockets for other appliances up to 1600W. Hot and cold water. Loads of well thought out storage including bin and the essential wine rack!
Electrics: Roamer 300Ah Lithium battery (£1450) Victron Easysolar 1600 inverter/charger (£1500), 350W solar, 80A DCDC charger (£500) and Victron GX monitoring(£500). Internet connectivity and remote access with GPS dongle.
Adventure upgrades: Loads of clever storage for full time living including big overhead cupboards, side storage, laundry and underseat. HUGE garage and ski rack that can take up to 4 XL downhill mountain bikes or full length powder skis/boards.
Winter features: THICK insulation on all walls, floor and ceiling and an insulated bulkhead. Seitz S7 double layer windows (£500 each), Dometic Heki 3 skylight (£800) and custom insulated curtains. Eberspacher S2 D2L heater (£800). Eberspacher Hydroplate diesel water heater (£2500 instant hot water, no tank). 3000m altitude adjustment via Easystart Pro controller. Load rated BFG tyres with 3PMSF rating for snow and ice.
Beds Description
Flexible sleeping arrangement which allows for up to 2 double beds, a double and 2 singles or 4 singles. Perfect for a couple, small family or even a group of friends! The main bed is a fixed double at 1.95m long and 1.5m wide. The mattress is custom and 10cm thick with premium moisture wicking foam. Also has air space beneath so it stays dry and fresh. The mattress can also be unzipped into two parts so if you want to split the bed into 2 singles, you can move the side storage unit between the two pieces. The seating area can be turned to a full width small double (1.7m long x 1.2m wide) or 1/2 singles going lengthways which (1.85m x 0.7m).
Communications
Work from anywhere. It has top of the range external high gain 5G & Wifi Antenna (£300) and mobile hardened router (£1000). This means you can connect to distant mobile networks and share it over wifi to the van and neighbours. You can also control the van’s systems remotely.
