The conversion was completed by Bespoke Campers. When I bought first bought my camper I asked TauntonT5 (local VW camper conversion company) to move the sink unit back away from the door opening. This allows access through the two doors and gives a lovely openness to the camper. They also made the single bed into a small double and the cushions have been recovered. There is a sink with a water pump and the cupboard under the sink holds the freshwater tank and the waste jerry can.
There is an alcohol hob which is stored in the kitchen cupboard and is great for making tea/coffee and snacks.
The LED lights are individually switched but also have a master switch on the 12v control panel. They are fused via the control panel fuses.
The elevating roof is very easy to put up and fold away. It is brilliant addition and makes living in the van so much more comfortable.
The floor is a practical hardwearing covering and all the van walls are insulated and covered with grey felt.
I wanted a van that would double up as a car as I couldn’t afford to run two vehicles. This little CaddyCamper has given me so much freedom and Bertie the dog loves it too!
