Reluctantly selling my 2008 Sprinter Campervan Conversion as I just don’t use it anymore.
Long MOT – Until April 2024, sailed through this year with no real issues except a bulb.
Great engine, chain driven, only 135000 when these are well known to go on well beyond 200000
Has been regularly serviced past 5 years by me, and had various new parts in the last 5000 miles including all brakes & pads, new alternator and new battery.
Van is a high top, long wheel base, I can comfortably stand up and move around inside at 6ft1.
Fully converted by myself as an off-grid home ideal for wild camping. Not registered as a camper with DVLA and no windows in the back by choice.
Two 250W Solar Panels on the roof
4 Brand New Leisure Batteries, wired in series and linked to a brand new inverter for normal 240v power.
Great low energy fridge
4 gas burners, with large refillable LPG tank by GasLow, with plenty of gas still in it
Fiamma vent in roof
Bed built high with loads of space underneath to use as you see fit.
Insulated on both sides and roof with foil backed foam insulation, so stays nice and warm even on cold winter nights. I can show progress pics during conversion for proof.
Ideal for someone who wants to make a few minimal changes themselves to personalise an already well built van.
