Review for alternative campers 580378:
It was amazing to watch Zoe transform our Citroen Relay base van into a luxurious campervan that is not only beautiful but is also extremely comfortable and practical. Having a warm van overnight in January courtesy of the Truma diesel/electric heater is wonderful. It makes the campervan useable all year round. Having previously owned a VW Brazilian Bay with a DubBox trailer on tow, we knew that we needed a larger self-contained van with more sophisticated kit. We wanted a future-proof, totally off-grid campervan with an advanced electrical system powered by solar panels, shore electric and a large Roamer lithium battery. Zoe followed our very detailed list of requirements and our preferred style extremely closely so that we ended up with exactly the campervan that we had dreamed of. All of the internal styling is as we requested with a few additional adaptions that made it even better, such as a wine rack above the fridge instead of a drawer that was not needed; and pull-out bins that I sourced online that Zoe added to runners for ease of use. We have six colour-coded bins that can be used for organising our recycling and waste, plus there are spare bins for the storage of food tins, oils etc. No more hanging bin bags on the outside of the campervan. Zoe was very easy to work with and we worked closely together in the final stages of the styling. It was very handy that we only live 30 minutes from Zoe’s workshop. Zoe and I even made a small bespoke river table out of the remnants of our oak wavy edge planks with ammonite fossils set within it. This will be used on the outside of the van as it attaches to the side of the fridge cabinet. It is truly unique and very beautiful, just like the van. If you want a completely bespoke campervan made exactly to your specifications using the best materials and to an extremely high quality finish, then Zoe is the craftswoman for you. Zoe will listen to your ideas, suggest ways to achieve them and then bring them to fruition.
