Located in the beautiful South Devon Countryside, sandwiched between the stunning coast and rolling Dartmoor Hills.
Here at New Nomads the vision was simpleβ¦.Create beautiful handcrafted campers that donβt blow the budget.
Our primary focus is on building smaller miro campers that are the perfect getaway vehicle. In the last few years weβve perfected the design and layout of the amazing VW Caddy Maxi with over 20 conversions. What these little campers lack in size they make up in features.

On top of this the miro-camper drives like a car with excellent fuel economy and is far more suited in the small narrow lanes in Cornwall, Devon and Wales.
Quality
At the heart of each build is a focus on craftsmanship. Weβve got a phobia of bland carpet plywood campers and instead use quality, beautiful materials to create a home from home when out adventuring. Where we can, the wood is locally sourced and components are of the highest quality. The final touch is to use top of the range oils and paints to ensure a long lasting finish.

We are one of the most price competitive bespoke van builders in the UK. Full conversions start at just Β£6,000 with a quick turnaround meaning you can be ready for an adventure in no time at all.
Technology
As technology is constantly progressing so are we! Our vans use the latest in Off grid electrical power pack systems. These allow days of usage with multiple outlet options allowing customers the flexibility to work away from home.

Now and again we will source a van, convert it to one of the above 3 layouts and sell it to the open market.
Commissions
Bring your empty van to us for a custom conversion. Choose a layout or a combination of more than one and we will convert the van for you.
